Thur, Nov 19th – Isle of Iowa November Monthly Meeting
6–9pm: Parlor City at 1125 3rd St SE in Cedar Rapids. Board Election Night, all current members are encouraged to vote! If you still need to renew your membership, you can now do it on-line via the website at: https://isleofiowa.com/membership/ Also, be sure to come to the meeting on time, we will take a walking tour of Eco Lips, Inc at 6pm, located in the Cherry Bldg.

Sat, Dec 5th – Cedar Rapids Holiday DeLight Parade
6-7pm: Downtown Cedar Rapids. Plan to walk with the Isle of Iowa in the Holiday DeLight Parade! Please bring a bag or two of candy and join ‘JB’ the parrot on the parade route! For anyone wanting to “warm up” before the parade, we will meet about 4pm at Clancey’s Keg at 719 5th St SE.
Tue, Jan 5th – Board Meeting
6-9pm: Robe’s Residence at 1775 Jonathan St in North Liberty. All members welcome.
Sat, Jan 9th – Isle of Iowa Christmas Party
2pm: Fairfax Legion at 216 Main St in Fairfax (about 3 mi South on Hwy 151 from Hwy 30). Dress is casual, please bring a dish to pass for the potluck, and a wrapped present ($15-20 range) if you want to participate in the gift exchange.
Fri, Jan 29th – Roughriders Mascot Mania
7pm: Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. Sign up and pre-pay at our Nov or Dec meetings. Cost is $15 for Blue Zone seating. Our Parrot Head Mascot, “JB” will be competing during intermission! Plan to meet during happy hour in the lobby from 5:30 - 6:30pm.
Sat, Feb 27th - QCPHC Havana Day Dreamin’ Bus Trip
11:00am pick up – 1:30am drop off (est. $65/person). We need everyone interested to sign up by the Nov Meeting to reserve the bus! Please email Bart or Randy if you can’t make the meeting but want to reserve a seat!
Sun, Feb 28th – The 16th Annual Blues ‘n’ Buffett Chili Challenge
1–4pm: Cedar Rapids Marriott. $10 at the door, advance tickets are available to purchase at https://blues-buffett.com for only $8 adults/$5 for seniors 65 and older. Proceeds benefit the Community Health Free Clinic and the HD Youth Center.
