Thur, Apr 14th – Board Meeting
6-9pm: Mason’s Residence at 2213 Harvest Circle in Coralville. All members welcome.
Sun, Apr 17th – Spring Highway Cleanup
10am – Noon: Meet at the I-380 Swisher-Shueyville Exit across from the BP Station. Safety vests and trash bags are provided. Afterwards (typically by Noon) we will meet at Shuey's at 1158 Club Rd in Shueyville for lunch and refreshments.
Thur, Apr 21st – Isle of Iowa April Monthly Meeting
6–9pm: Parlor City at 1125 3rd St SE in Cedar Rapids. We will be collecting donations for the Iowa City Animal Shelter.
Sat, Apr 30th – Dubuque One Particular Harbor Phlocking
5pm: The Dubuque Phlockers One Particular Harbor is sure to be a blast with music featuring Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band! We will not be hosting a bus this year, but don’t let that stop you from attending this party!
Wed, May 4th – May One Particular Harbor
6-9pm: Mulligan’s Pub at 1060 Old Marion Rd NE in Cedar Rapids. Come out for our club social night for great food and drinks! We plan to be outside on the patio, weather permitting. All day Wednesday is $3 Coronas and $4 Margaritas!
Sun, May 15th – Isle of Iowa’s 19th Birthday Party
2–6pm: Fairfax Legion at 216 Main St in Fairfax. Music by Mike Miller! Free admission and open to all. Please bring a dish to pass for the potluck. Parrot Head of the Year and many other special announcements, games, prizes, phun and phriends!
Sun, June 12th – Drop Dead Dangerous House Concert
6pm: Steve & Kate Sander’s Farm at 3540 C Ave Ext in Marion (North of the Tuma Soccer Complex on County Home Road). Drop Dead Dangerous is Kitty Steadman and Melanie Howe (The Djembabe). Tickets are just $10 for club members in advance ($20 for non-members). You can purchase your advance ticket at any club event prior to June 12th!
Fri, July 15th – Brittany Kingery “Tequila Talking Tour” Concert
6pm: Fairfax Legion at 216 Main St in Fairfax. Brittany Kingery accompanied by singer-guitarist Rob Hill and percussionist Melanie Howe (The Djembabe). Tickets are just $10 for club members in advance ($15 for non-members). You can purchase your advance ticket at any club event prior to July 15th!
Sat, Aug 6th – Kernels Buffett Night at the Ballpark
4-11pm: Your advance ticket includes 3 hrs of free food and drinks starting 30 min before the game. The Compass Rose Band will be playing immediately following the game along with fireworks at dusk!
Sat, Aug 13th – Island Fever 2016 Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.

Sat, Sep 3rd – Jimmy Buffett “I Don’t Know” if there will be a Bus to Alpine
7am until the thin line between Sat night and Sun morning (4am)! Cedar Rapids to Alpine and back! Reserve your spot on the bus; we will have a signup sheet at upcoming club events! Cost will be ~$60 plus you will need to purchase a ticket for the concert. Club tickets are available (see Bart’s email).

Sat, Apr 16th – Murder Mystery Dinner Theater “Cheese Murder in Paradise”
6:00pm: Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery, 1441 Marak Rd NW in Swisher. Who poisoned the parrot head? A Jimmy Buffett mystery! Dinner includes three course dinner with a plated seasonal salad, dinner buffet featuring prime rib, apple & bourbon glazed chicken, and a plated dessert. Tickets are $58 per person.
