One Particular Harbor night provides members and non-members an informal gathering on the first Wednesday of each month. Check out Isle of Iowa home page or the calendar for details as to where we will meet each month, these events usually get started around 6:00 p.m. unless we are notified of changes. These changes are usually sent out to the listserv group so check your email often.
During the warmer months and as weather allows, we meet outside at a different park or residence each time where we grill and everybody brings a dish to share. Good to get out and mingle with others while enjoying the great outdoors. Bring the parakeets and compatible parapets and enjoy the times we get to spend with phriends and phamily.
When the weather takes a turn for the worst we move our meetings indoors to Parrot Head phriendly venues, some of the places we are likely to frequent are City Beat, Papa Juan’s, etc… these are usually chosen by board members or by Parrot Heads suggestions. So if there is a place you think we might all like to go to that accommodate us (sometimes groups up to 20 -30) please send a suggestion to your favorite Board Member, their email address can be found on the Home Page of Isle of Iowa web site.
