Holiday DeLight Parade

Fast Facts
 Where: Downtown Cedar Rapids, 3rd Ave. SW/SE
 When: Saturday, December 4, 2010
 Time: 6 p.m.

This is the 27th Annual Holiday Parade and they are asking all participants to light up the streets with their lighted entries. Come out looking like a Tropical Pirate! We will have a Pirate Ship and a lot of phun! This Thursday night, Dec 2nd, we will get together to paint and put the finishing touches on the ship. Come to Gordy and Sandie Smith's house any time after 6:30 in your painting clothes! (225 Rockvalley LN NW, call 396-7098 if you need further directions)

If you have any extra paint brushes you would like to bring with you, that would be great.

Hope everyone can make it out to walk alongside the float on Saturday! Come in any pirate and/or tropical get-up that you have. We did order some pirate hats and eye patches to help you out too! It is a light-parade, so any ‘twinkles’ you have to wear are also more than welcomed.

We are to be in staging area D by 5:15. (parade starts at 6:00) We are entry # 42 and located on 4th Ave SE between 6th Street and 7th Street.

This is a family based parade so alcohol is not allowed, but we are close to the Coopacabana!
