Are you ready to do some Sol Searching on the Isle of Iowa tomorrow (Thursday, July 18) night?
Scott Kirby will be on the Isle tomorrow (Thursday) night for our monthly meeting. Please join us at Gus’ Food & Spirits in Coralville (2421 Coral Court) for a special performance. The phunny business part of the meeting will start around 6:45 p.m. with a number of extra special announcements that you don’t want to miss. Then, at 7:30 p.m. Scott Kirby will take the stage accompanied by Dave Edmisten from Lenore, North Carolina. Trust me – this is one of those shows that you just can’t miss!
It’s also Double Parrot Point Night so you get the chance to pad your points total. Think how many parrot points you can earn if you bring along a phriend (or recruit a new “friend” from the bar)! All this plus there will be a special raffle & you also get to hear about the Peanut Butter Conspiracy(that’s all I’m sayin’ for now).
There is even more music on Friday night as the Cedar Island Band takes the stage at Uptown Friday Night. We still need a few more volunteer beer servers to help out – see Randy tomorrow night at Gus’ if you are interested!
Last but certainly not least (for now) is Jimmy Buffett Night at the Kernels on Saturday, August 3. We need you to get signed up for this special evening which features not only a baseball game but fireworks & the sounds of the Cedar Island Band along with all of the cold beverages and tasty ball park food you can eat for just $26!
