Thur, Jan 16th – Isle of Iowa January Monthly Meeting
6–10pm: Checkers Tavern, 3120 6th St SW in Cedar Rapids. New membership cards will be available for everyone who has paid dues for 2014. We will have tickets to check out to help sell for the Chili Challenge; also we will accept any Silent Auction donations.
Fri, Jan 17th – Cedar Rapids Roughriders Mascot Night
7:05pm: Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. We have 18 attending. If you were too late to get signed up, you can still obtain GrayZone tickets for just $12 by calling Marti at 319-247-0340 Ext. 104. Our Parrot Head Mascot, “JB” will be competing during intermission! Plan to meet during happy hour in the lobby from 5:30 - 6:30pm to pick up your ticket if you can’t make the Thursday meeting.

Sun, Jan 26th – Family Bowling Day
2-4pm: Westdale Bowling Center at 2020 Scotty Drive SW in Cedar Rapids. Sign up at the club meeting or by email to [email protected]. We will have a special group rate so bring your family and friends for a great time on a Sunday afternoon!
Sat, Feb 1st – QCPHC Havana Day Dreamin'
1-5pm: Rivercenter in Davenport, IA Pre-Party with Jim Hoehn, 6pm-Midnight: Music by the Boat Drunks and Ramajay Intercoastal. Unfortunately we will not have a bus trip, but many members will still be attending. Get your tickets at: https://www.qcph.com/
Wed, Feb 5th – One Particular Harbor
6pm: CJ’s Sports Bar at 62 17th Ave SW in the CzechVillage. Come out for our club social night for great food and drinks! Remember to bring your Membership card for a discount!
Thur, Feb 13th – Isle of Iowa Board Meeting
6-9pm: Anderson’s Residence at 1825 Ridgewood Terrace SE in Cedar Rapids. All members welcome.
Sat, Feb 22nd – Bus Trip to see The Compass Rose Band
8pm – Midnight: The Mississippi Moon Bar in the Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque. For only $35, you can leave the driving to us and get back home safely in time for the Chili Challenge. The bus will depart Cedar Rapids around 5pm and return by 2am.
Sun, Feb 23rd – 14th Annual Blues ‘n’ Buffett Chili Challenge
1–4pm: Cedar Rapids Marriott. We still need a few more members to cook Chili: if interested, please e-mail Randy at [email protected] for more info. Advance tickets will be available to purchase and/or check out to help sell. We need Silent Auction items also, if you have a basket or smaller items we can make into a basket, please bring to the next club event.
