Hopefully you are all gearing up for a beautiful 4th of July weekend! There are many fun things happening including a club house concert on the Patio at Jim & Laurieloo's tomorrow (June 30) night featuring Charlie Imes. Charlie is a San Diego based singer/songwriter & I know that you will absolutely love his music! Meet & Greet will start at 6:00 pm and the music will start at 7:00 pm tomorrow night. On Saturday we will host an Isle of Iowa Campfire at Bobber's Grill in North Liberty at the camp site of club member Cindy Ek. The Compass Rose Band will be performing on the patio at Bobber's starting at 6:00 pm and the campfire will follow.
Both of these events present an excellent opportunity to help your club out by bringing along an item or two to donate to the Island Fever Phlocking charity fundraiser. We are in need of lots of new (or gently used) items to group into baskets and/or use with our bucket raffle give-aways. Any type of item you can donate would be greatly appreciated (check out those clearance bins)! We can literally put any item to good use! We would also welcome your donations of bottles of liquor, wine or beer!
Our auction chair (Tina Hansen) has even offered to "do the shopping for you" if you want to just donate a gift card. Gift cards & gift certificates can be brought to an upcoming event or can be mailed directly to Tina...
