The Isle of Iowa will be participating in the University of Iowa homecoming parade this year. The parade is on Friday, October 9th at 5:30 pm in downtown Iowa City. The staging begins at 3:00. I will let you know the exact location of the staging area when I find out. There is a meeting on Monday, Oct. 5th. I should know more then. Parking is available at the Greyhound bus terminal located at Dubuque and E. Court Streets. Parking here is free after 5:00. If people want to meet and walk together, I would recommend meeting on the Ped mall by the fountain. Watch the listserv for more information as it becomes available. We are registered to walk with no pets, and we will be using the same float we used in the Coralville 4th of July parade.
