Wed, Jan 6th – January One Particular Harbor
6-9pm: Hurricane Grill & Wings at 4444 1st Ave NE Suite 602 at the Lindale Mall. Come out for our club social night for great food and drinks!
Sat, Jan 9th – Isle of Iowa Christmas Party
6pm: Fairfax Legion at 216 Main St in Fairfax (about 3 mi South on Hwy 151 from Hwy 30). Dress is casual, please bring a dish to share for the potluck, and a wrapped present ($15-20 range) if you want to participate in the gift exchange.
Tue, Jan 12th – Chili Challenge 2016 Committee
5:30pm: Leonardo’s at 2228 16th Ave SW in Cedar Rapids. All members welcome to come out just to enjoy great food and drinks! You may drop off Silent Auction donations at any club event.
Thur, Jan 21st – Isle of Iowa January Monthly Meeting
6–9pm: Parlor City at 1125 3rd St SE in Cedar Rapids.
Fri, Jan 29th – Roughriders Mascot Mania
7pm: Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. Sign up and pre-pay at the Christmas Party. Cost is $15 for Blue Zone seating. Our Parrot Head Mascot, “JB” will be competing during intermission! Plan to meet during happy hour in the lobby from 5:30 - 6:30pm.
Sat, Feb 27th - QCPHC Havana Day Dreamin’ Bus Trip
11:00am pick up – 1:30am drop off (est. $65/person). We need everyone interested to sign up by the Dec Meeting to reserve the bus! Please email Bart or Randy if you can’t make the meeting but want to reserve a seat!
Sun, Feb 28th – The 16th Annual Blues ‘n’ Buffett Chili Challenge
1–4pm: Cedar Rapids Marriott. $10 at the door, advance tickets are available to purchase at https://blues-buffett.com for only $8 adults/$5 for seniors 65 and older. Proceeds benefit the Community Health Free Clinic and the HD Youth Center.
