Thur, Apr 19th – March Monthly Meeting
6:00 – 10:00pm, Downtown Fieldhouse at 411 1st St SE, Cedar Rapids. Our quarterly charity is the Eastern Iowa Honor Flights: https://eihonorflight.org/1801.html. Reminder: we will be voting on changing the club’s fiscal year to better coincide with PHIP fiscal year at the monthly meeting. The proposed changes can be found at https://isleofiowa.com/member-news/club-by-laws-proposed/. If you are not able to attend and would like an absentee ballot, e-mail Tina, the Elections Chair, at [email protected] or call 319-560-5574. Absentee ballots need to be received by meeting time on April 19th.
Sun, Apr 22nd – Isle of Iowa Sand Volleyball League
8:00 – 9:00pm – Volleys, 265 Blairs Ferry Rd NE, Cedar Rapids. This will be the first game for our newly formed team “What the Phlock?”. We had enough people sign up at last months meeting to form a six person Coed-Rec League team. Come out and cheer us on!

Sun, May 20th – Spring Highway Cleanup & Treasure Hunt
10:00am – Noon – We meet at the I-380 Swisher/Shueyville exit to clean up our adopted section of I-380 and search for treasures. There will be a sign-up sheet at next months meeting (we have 7 people signed up so far, we could use 9-13). After the treasure hunt, we will meet up for lunch at one of the local Shueyville taverns.
