Mon, July 15th – 2013 Phlocking Committee Meeting
6-9pm: Clarion Hotel, 525 33rd Ave SW in Cedar Rapids. Anyone interested in the Phlocking is encouraged to attend. We need all members support to help make this a successful event to benefit the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.
Thur, July 18th – July Monthly Isle of Iowa Meeting with Scott Kirby
6–10:30pm: Gus’ Food & Spirits, 2421 Coral Court in Coralville. Our 3rd quarter charity is the East Central Iowa Alzheimer’s Association. This is a special event with Trop Rock artist Scott Kirby from Key West performing from 7:30 – 10:30pm and double parrot points will be given to all in attendance! https://www.scottkirby.com/
Fri, July 19th – Uptown Friday Nights with the Cedar Island Band
5-8pm: GreeneSquarePark in Cedar Rapids. We will have a sign up sheet at the Thursday meeting for volunteers to help man our clubs table and serve beer. Come out in your club shirts to help advertise the Phlocking and have some phun with the Cedar Island Band and Isle of Iowa.
Sat, July 20th – Woodphlock 2013
1-11pm at the Paddle Wheel, 613 Jefferson St in Burlington, IA. The Southeast Iowa Parrot Head Club Phlocking for the Disabled American Veterans. Music by Musical Blades, Aaron Stevens, and Mr. Myers Band. Anyone interested in car pooling, meet at Mason’s house at 2213 Harvest Circle in Coralville at 12:30pm. 9:45am – 2:30pm: 1720 Waterfront Dr in Iowa City. This is for the JohnsonCountyCrisis Center’s Thanksgiving in July food drive. We need to have 2-6 people to staff the table.
Sat, Aug 3rd – Linn County Heart Walk
8-11am: Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. We need a few people to staff the membership table and hand out Club and Phlocking info. Sat, Aug 3rd – Jimmy Buffett Night at the Kernals
4-10pm: Veterans Memorial Stadium. Please make reservations today with Gerald by calling 319-551-9006 or e-mailing him at [email protected]. The cost is only $26 per person (children 5 and under are free) and includes a ticket to the game and unlimited food and beverages including 1/3 lb hamburgers & cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, all beef hot dogs, brats, popcorn, peanuts, dessert, pop, bottled water, and beer for three hours starting 30 minutes before game time. The Kernels will wear special Hawaiian Jerseys that will be sold during the game via a silent auction. Game time is 5 pm and the Cedar Island Band performs after the game, plus there will be fireworks! You do not need to be a club member, so invite your friends and family for this special event!

6-10pm: Jones Parkview Pavilion. BYOB and a dish to share, the club will provide meat and table service.
Thur, Aug 13th – Isle of Iowa Board Meeting
6–10pm: Mason’s house, 2213 Harvest Circle in Coralville. All members welcome.
