Wed, Feb 19th – Chili Challenge 2014 Committee Meeting
5:30-8pm: Emil’s Hideaway at 222 Glenbrook Dr SE in Cedar Rapids. We will accept any silent auction items if you would like to drop them off or join us for more info! We are looking for volunteers to help the day of the event, please email Kate ([email protected]) with your preference.
Thur, Feb 20th – Isle of Iowa February Monthly Meeting
6–10pm: Parlor City, 1125 3rd St SE in Cedar Rapids. We will have tickets for the Chili Challenge; also we will accept any last minute Silent Auction donations. We will be taking payment for the Dubuque Bus Trip. Our first quarter charity is the American Heart Association so please support the 50/50. We will also be accepting Waypoint donations.
Sat, Feb 22nd – The Compass Rose Band Debut in Dubuque Bus Trip
8pm – Midnight: The Mississippi Moon Bar in the Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque. For only $35, you can leave the driving to us and get back home safely in time for a nap before the Chili Challenge. The bus will depart Cedar Rapids around 4pm and return by 2am with a couple stops along the way. What a way to celebrate National Margarita Day!
Sun, Feb 23rd – 14th Annual Blues ‘n’ Buffett Chili Challenge
1–4pm: Cedar Rapids Marriott. Support our charity the Community Health Free Clinic. Vote for your favorite chili, we have 10 club members cooking chili this year! Last chance to get your tickets for $8 in advance at www.blues-buffett.com or at the club meeting, they will be $10 at the door.
