Thur, May 15th – Isle of Iowa Monthly Meeting
6–10pm: Parlor City, 1125 3rd St SE in Cedar Rapids. Come out to participate in our 50/50 to support our 2nd quarter charities: the Cedar Valley Humane Society and the Iowa City Animal Shelter. We will also be accepting Peanut Butter for HACAP Operation Backpack, Pop Tabs for Ronald McDonald House, Mini booze bottles, full size booze bottles, silent auction donations, and Waypoint donations.
Sun, May 18th – Spring Highway Cleanup “Treasure Hunt”
10am – Noon: Meet at the I-380 Swisher-Shueyville Exit across from the BP Station. Safety vests and trash bags are provided. Afterwards we will meet at: Shuey's Restaurant & Lounge at 1158 Club Rd in Shueyville.
Wed, May 21st – Island Fever Phlocking Committee Meeting & Honor Flight
6pm: Shuey's Restaurant & Lounge at 1158 Club Rd in Shueyville. We encourage any & all members to come on out & join the discussion. Afterwards we will plan on going to the Eastern Iowa Airport to meet the Honor Flight!

Fri, June 13th – North Liberty Fun Days Parade (tentative)
6pm line-up, 7pm start: Check your e-mail for a follow up to this event to see if we are going to participate. The parade starts at the Community Center, 520 W Cherry St in North Liberty.
Sat, June 14th – Club Campout at Bobbers Grill
7pm: Scales Pointe Campground at 1850 Scales Bend Rd NE in North Liberty. The Compass Rose Band will be playing outside. Get your camping reservations now by calling 319-665-3474!
Sat, Aug 9th – Kernals Buffett Night at the Ballpark
4:30pm: See Gerald for tickets, only $26 gets you a ticket, 3 hrs of free food and drinks starting 30 min before the game, fireworks, and the Compass Rose Band will be playing immediately after the game!

Mon, May 5th – Cinco de Mayo!
All day! Head out to your favorite watering hole and have a Margarita! I think Papa’s Sports Bar will be the place to be! See ya there after work! Cinco de Mayo celebrates a significant victory over French forces in the Battle of Puebla in 1862 by using Margaritas and Burritos as their only weapons.
Sat, May 10th – Benz BeerFest
1-5pm: Benz Beverage Depot at 501 7th Ave SE in Cedar Rapids. 10th annual event benefiting the American Heart Association. VIP tickets are $35 for first hour of the event. Regular admission is $20 in advance or $30 at the door. Check the club email for volunteer opportunities.
