6–10pm: Checkers Tavern, 3120 6th St SW in Cedar Rapids. Our 3rd quarter charity is the East Central Iowa Alzheimer’s Association. Special guest Thom Shepherd will be playing at 7:30pm. Don’t forget to bring your donations for Island Fever Phlocking and Waypoint for extra Parrot Points! There will be special drawings for all members who renew their club membership.
Sat, Sep 21st – Downtown Cedar Rapids Farmers Market Fundraiser
7:30am – Noon: GreeneSquarePark. Help promote the Phlocking, sell tickets, take donations, etc.

6-9pm: Clarion Hotel, 525 33rd Ave SW in Cedar Rapids. Anyone interested in the Phlocking is encouraged to attend. We need all members support to help make this a successful event to benefit the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.
Sat, Sep 28th – Walk to End Alzheimer’s

5:30pm – CJ’s Sports Bar at 62 17th Ave SW in the CzechVillage. Come out for our club social night for great food and margaritas!
Sat, Oct 5th – Hawkeye Football Game Tailgate Fundraiser
7:15–11am: Meet at Bart Mason’s House at 2213 Harvest Circle in Coralville. Carpool to the tailgate area at 7:30am, walk with JB to promote the Phlocking, sell tickets, take donations, have phun, etc.

Tue, Oct 8th – Isle of Iowa Board Meeting
6–9pm: Anderson’s Residence, 1825 Ridgewood Terrace SE, Cedar Rapids. All members welcome.
Wed, Oct 9th – Jello Shot Production Party
6pm: Smith’s Residence, 225 Rockvalley Lane NW. Bring a bottle of flavored booze and two large boxes of jello if possible. We will be attempting to beat the record of making 1,000 jello shots in one hour (details of the record may not be accurate)! We will also be making up the gift bags for our out of town guests staying at the Clarion Hotel.
Sat, Oct 12th – Island Fever Phlocking 2013
2pm – Pre-party games, jello shots, and Parrot Head potluck.
6pm – Raffle, Booze Wall, Live Auction, Silent Auction, and music by the Cedar Island Band with special guests the Cedar Reefers and Jerry Gontang. Benefits the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight, advance tickets are available at www.isleofiowa.com.
