Tues, Aug 23^rd – OPH2 First Beer Free Night
5pm-??:  Another Road Brewing at 631 9^th St in Marion.  Steve “JB” Sanders has invited everyone in the club for a free beer (1^st beer is on him).  So come out to the NEW Another Road Brewery for some PHun!

Sun, Aug 28^th – Board Meeting
4pm: Viking Lounge at 1971 16^th Ave SW in Cedar Rapids.  All members welcome.

Sat, Sep 3^rd – Alpine Valley Bus Trip

7am until the thin line between Sat night and Sun morning (~4am)!  Cedar Rapids with stops in Marion, Anamosa, Dubuque, Monroe and Beloit!  Reserve your spot on the party bus; signup (pre-pay required to reserve a seat) at upcoming club events or via email at [email protected]!  Cost is $65 plus you will need to purchase your own concert ticket separately.  Lawn tickets are still available for $36 plus fees on Ticketmaster!  Don’t miss this opportunity to tailgate with the Isle of Iowa and see G. Love & Special Sauce and Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers!

6-9pm: Starlite Room at 3300 1^st Ave NE in Cedar Rapids.  Come out for our club social night for great food and drinks!

Thur, Sep 15^th – Isle of Iowa September Monthly Meeting
6–9pm: Parlor City at 1125 3^rd St SE in Cedar Rapids.  Still collecting peanut butter for HACAP Operation Backpack.

Nov 2-6^th – Meeting of the Minds
Key West, FL – This is the 25^th Annual MOTM!  The registration deadline is coming up soon!  Online registration closes on September 15th or when registration reaches 3500, whichever occurs first.  Mail-in registrations must be received no later than September 1st of the convention year.
