What: Monthly Meeting

The holidays are fast approaching, and what better way to start planning than to get together with your Parrot Head phriends at our phun and inphormative monthly meeting! Most every-one should be back from Meeting of the Minds and ready to tell of their exploits from down South, so come on out to the Downtown Fieldhouse and be ready for them to bend your ear.
We will have our business meeting where Deanna will fill you in on the Board’s plans for our Christmas Party and other phun things going on.
The charity for our quarterly raffle of September/October/November continues to be Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc. (HACAP). “A help up, not a hand out.” For further infor-mation, please go to their website at www.hacap.org.
We always accept donations for Waypoint Services, such as canned goods and non-perishables. The need for plastic shopping bags is paramount, as well as empty plastic food containers. Please go to their website at www.waypointservices.org for an updated list of their needs, or see the list in this month’s newsletter.
We will also be collecting beverage tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
