New Tour Kicks off in Virginia Beach

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band kicked off the 2014 This One’s For You Tour last night at Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach. The show marked the debut of Margaritaville.tv. For those who tried to watch noticed there were some technical difficulties through much of the show.

Buffett began the show with the Eddie Cochran cover “Summertime Blues” (first time performed live by Buffett). Other cover songs played included “Brown Eyed Girl” (Van Morrison), “Free” (Zac Brown Band), “Southern Cross” (Crosby, Stills, and Nash), and “Scarlet Begonias” (Gratetful Dead).

Jimmy played four songs from the album “Songs from St Somewhere”, including “Soulfully”, “Too Drunk To Karaoke”, “Something About a Boat”, and “Oldest Surfer On The Beach”.

Some other songs performed include “My Head Hurts, My Feet Stink AnOnly Time Will Tell (last played 6-22-2010 Clarkston, MI) and “Only Time Will Tell” (last played 6-22-2010 Clarkston, MI).

The set list from the show is now available.

The tour continues on Tuesday with a show at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta, GA.
