Do we have any Newsletter Volunteers?
The 2015 edition of the annual PHiP Newsletter Contest will open July 1st and I encourage each & every one of you to submit your best for consideration.
1. All clubs are eligible to participate
2. Submissions must be received in this office no later than August 15, 2015. Entries received after August 15, 2015 will be returned unopened ...
3. Judging will be done by a panel of five (5) volunteer judges selected at random, whose decision will be final …
4. Both hard copy and on-line newsletters are eligible for consideration. However, on-line newsletters must be printed out and submitted in hard copy form.
By way of clarification, what I need is seven(7) of the same edition originals of the most recent edition of your club's newsletter. (If it's within 90 days of the cutoff date, I won't quibble.)
What we don't want is that "Hall of Fame," once-in-a-lifetime, special anniversary commemorative keep sake jewel you put out three years ago & spent $10,000 to produce. That is not a representative sample of your "normal" newsletter.
Finally, attempting to embellish your newsletter by using report covers, binders, etc. is like trying to teach a pig to sing ...It wastes your time and irritates the pig!
1st Place ------ $ 300 donation to your local charity of choice,
2nd Place ------ $ 200 donation to your local charity of choice,
3rd Place ------ $ 100 donation to your local charity of choice.
