Greeting Isle of Iowans!
It's a BUSY week on the Isle of Iowa! Many things are happening & we sure hope you will be able to join us for one or all of them! First up, the Isle of Iowa is hosting a virtual candidate forum for all the pholks who are running in the upcoming PHiP elections (regular & special). The candidate forum will be broadcast on Tuesday, September 15 live on the Isle of Iowa Facebook page at 8:30 PM central time! Make sure you tune in for a bit!
Next, we will hold our September Monthly Meeting on Thursday, September 17 at the Chrome Horse Saloon in NewBo (1201 3rd Street SE; Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401). Come out & join us for a "socially distanced social"... If you can't join us in person (or are not comfortable doing so), we will broadcast the meeting on the Isle of Iowa Facebook page beginning at 7:00 PM central time. We think we have quite a few cool things to share with everyone! And don't forget to get those membership dues paid up - technically they are due by October 1, 2020!
Finally, we have another special club concert coming your way on Saturday, September 19! Lehman's Backyard Soiree (and the Isle of Iowa) are honored to host Paul Roush for his first appearance on the Isle of Iowa! It's going to be a great show - one you don't want to miss!! Meet & Greet occurs at 4:00 PM & the music starts at 4:30 PM. Check out the flyer for all of the details!
