Well, sadly the quarantine continues on! Hopefully everyone is staying self, healthy & you are all practicing proper social distancing. It certainly is a challenge, albeit a necessary one!
The pandemic is definitely taking it's toll on parrot head clubs, activities and all of the musicians who we've come to know & love. BUT... we will get through it all & celebrate down the road!
There are a couple of items that we want to make you aware of & put on your radar screens. First off, our board will be meeting (virtually of course) on Monday evening. We will be taking care of the "regular" club business & also putting plans together for some special virtual happenings for our club members. We'll be able to share more information with you at our monthly meeting on Thursday!
That brings me to the second item... We will be holding a "virtual" club meeting on Thursday night beginning at 6:30 PM. In the next couple of days, we will be sending out a link for you to join in on this meeting. We are looking at a couple of different platforms for this meeting but most likely we will use Zoom. However, we will make sure to give you the final details once we have them worked out. We're planning on this being a very interactive meeting with some really fun (and entertaining stuff) planned to get you all involved! Details coming soon but mark your calendar NOW!
Finally, we alos wanted to make sure that you get a chance to look at the current lineup for the Island Fever Showcase at the Surf Ballroom. Check out the enclosed flyer. While we are still working on some more additions to this already packed lineup, we wanted you to get a peak at the amazing lineup in place already. We will be conducting several live shows (again virtually of course) during the week of April 20 to announce & promote the lineup & the event. We'll share more information with you on Thursday and in future communications!
