January One Particular Harbor
Wednesday, January 7th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM: Goldfinch Tap + Eatery at 740 10th St in Marion. One Particular Harbor night provides members and non-members an informal gathering on the first Wednesday of each month. Come early for Happy Hour with half price drinks until 6 PM! (Feb OPH location: TBD)
Isle of Iowa Christmas Party
Saturday, January 10th at 4:00 - 9:00 PM: Fairfax American Legion. Potluck, Gift Exchange ($25 approximate value), and Board Announcement. Christmas is not over yet, so make plans to attend and have some Holiday Cheer with all your Parrot Head PHriends!
Isle of Iowa Monthly Meeting
Thursday, January 15th from 5:00 - 9:00 PM: The Moose Lodge at 1820 W Post Rd SW in Cedar Rapids. Members with a January Birthday will receive a free drink on the Isle! (Feb Meeting location TDB)
Growing Older But Not Up 2026
Saturday, January 31st from 6:00 - 11:30 PM: Sherwood Forest Event Center at 7400 Hickman Rd in Des Moines. The Des Moines Parrotheads Fundraiser for the Central Iowa Alzheimer's Association. Music by Too Drunk To Fish. Catered Food and silent auction. Unofficial hotel some of our members are at is the Holiday Inn Express in Urbandale. Purchase your Tickets here for $35 before Jan 31.
Winter Beach Bash
Saturday, January 31st from 7:00 - 11:00 PM: Shipley Schoolhouse at 25922 595th Ave in Nevada, IA. Tickets $20 before Jan 30 and $30 day of show. The 2026 event will once again feature eight-time Trop Rock Music Association Band Of The Year, The Boat Drunks. For the first time, the event will also serve as the 2026 Pizza Pie Looza artist reveal! Our friends from Sports Bowl/The Wobbly Pin will be serving drinks and food again as well.
