October One Particular Harbor
Wednesday, October 1 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM: The Pedaler's Fork at 2010 Sylvia Ave NE in Cedar Rapids. One Particular Harbor night provides members and non-members an informal gathering on the first Wednesday of each month. (November OPH location: The Starlite Room)
Isle of Iowa Monthly Meeting
Thursday, October 16 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM: The Moose Lodge at 1820 W Post Rd SW in Cedar Rapids. Social hour is from 6-7pm, then a short business meeting along with a 50/50 raffle to benefit local charities is held. Meetings are open to the public, so feel free to invite all your friends to learn a little bit about our club and how we party with a purpose! Members with a October Birthday will receive a free drink on the Isle! Board Meeting at 5:00 PM. Willis Dady Homeless Services will be at the meeting to accept a check from our raffle proceeds, so please plan to attend to show our support.
Fall Highway Cleanup "The Treasure Hunt"
Sunday, October 19, 10AM - Noon - Our Adopt-a-Highway location at IA 100 near E Ave NW from MP2 - 3.75 (near the Covington Rd Exit). Park near the entrance of Morgan Creek Park on E Ave NW. Safety vests and trash bags are provided. Afterwards we will plan on lunch at The Inn Restaurant & Bar at 175 Jacolyn Dr NW.
