That’s right, we are just TWO short weeks away from Trop Rock’s greatest moment – the Island Fever Showcase at the Surf Ballroom! The list of attendees continues to grow and let me tell you – it is one IMPRESSIVE list! You had better make sure to get your name added – and SOON!

Monday Morning – the official Island Fever “Wrap” Party at the Rock & Roll Grill!
We promised you something BIG to close out the Island Fever Showcase & we are definitely not going to disappoint! On Monday (September 3) morning, we will be holding the last official event of the Island Fever Showcase weekend at the Surf District – Rock & Roll Grill & it’s a killer event that you simply can’t miss! The official Island Fever “Wrap” Party will be held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM but you can join us anytime between these hours. The Rock & Roll Grill is opening up just for this exclusive celebration of the Island Fever Showcase & they will be offering drink specials & a special breakfast deal. But, that’s not all! As you might suspect, we will have live music from an exclusive artist who will be coming to town just to play for this special event. That’s right, I said “exclusive” and it’s the only place you will be able to see (and hear) this incredible musician! The official artist announcement will come from the Rock & Roll Grill and is coming soon! Yes – I do know who it is and YOU WILL BE WOWED! In fact, I can’t believe that we got them to agree to perform for us! Even more important, proceeds from this special “Wrap” party will be donated to the effort to build Clear Lake’s first accessible playground for children with disabilities. What an incredible (and worthy) cause! So make sure you stop in & join us for breakfast, cocktails, live music and an incredible purpose before you leave town on Monday! 
Friday Night – the Gypsies in the Palace Pre-event Celebration!
You definitely want to plan to get to town as early as you can on Friday, August 31! Become one of the “Gypsies” who will be taking over the “Palace” (that’s Clear Lake) for Labor Day Weekend! We’ve got an incredible day full of pre-event celebrations planned! The schedule includes a special gathering at the Lake Time Brewery for the tapping of an exclusive Island Fever craft brew from 2 PM to 5 PM. Then, it’s off to City Park for the official Island Fever Showcase Welcome Celebration featuring Corned Beef & Curry Band (along with many special guests). And after that, the “Gypsies” will spill out into “Palaces” all around Clear Lake for a whole slew of pre-parties hosted by several local establishments & many of our neighboring parrot head clubs! We’ve got the JPs (John Patti & Jimi Pappas) performing at Sunset Sharky’s with the Corn Republic & the Chicago Parrot Head Club; Thom & Coley performing at The Other Place with the St. MinneSomePlace Parrot Heads; & Drop Dead Dangerous performing at Rookies Rockin’ Sports Bar with the Quad City Parrot Head Club! Plus… we’ve got the exclusive Pirates & Poets Iowa Showcase happening at the Anchor Inn with Sunny Jim, Donny Brewer & Mike Miller! It’s definitely a “Gypsies in the Palace” kind of night!
Daily Schedule:
The detailed schedule (with specific performance times) has been posted to the official event website (islandfevershowcase.com). You can access it by clicking this link – SCHEDULE. Trust me… there will plenty of “surprises” in the schedule even beyond the highly anticipated “mystery set” on Sunday. And… the mystery set on Sunday will be (to quote) “something you’ll remember forever” – a benefit to partnering with America’s most famous music venue! When we say Surf Ballroom exclusive, we definitely mean it!
Remember, there are two full days of entertainment scheduled for the Surf Ballroom – Saturday, September 1 & Sunday, September 2. On each of these days, the entertainment schedule will begin at Noon (Surf doors open at 11:00 am) and will continue through Midnight. Each performer will have a 90 to 120 minute set with approximately 30 minutes between each main set.
Tickets:
While VIP Floor Seating is completely sold out, there are still a number of great ticket options available! Two Day General Admission Tickets are available through the Surf Ballroom (onsite and at surfballroom.com) for just $90. Two-day tickets allow unlimited entry over the two days – Saturday, September 1 & Sunday, September 2. You may add a booth upgrade to your ticket purchase (for a small fee) to guarantee a seat.
Single Day Tickets are now available. Single-day tickets can be purchased through the Surf Ballroom (onsite and at surfballroom.com) and are priced at $55 for each day. Single-day tickets are good for admission to all musical sessions on either Saturday or Sunday.
Both Single Day Tickets & Two-Day Tickets will be on sale until August 31 or until they are sold out (whichever comes first).
As mentioned, VIP floor seating is completely Sold Out, but we have just FOUR special Premium (VIP) Booths (VIP) still available for purchase at islandfevershowcase.com. These special booths include admission for four people, a special laminate event badge for each person & a cool bling bag (again one for each person) filled with a variety of treasures. Each booth will seat up to four people and they are extremely limited. Premium (VIP) Booths can be purchased for $525 at islandfevershowcase.com.
The only ticket option that may be available at the door is a special walk-up ticket good for entry to the event after 6:00 PM. These tickets will be first come, first serve & will only be sold at the door (if space permits). This special ticket will cost $30 for each night. Again, they can only be purchased at the door on the day of the event (if available). We anticipate that these tickets will be standing room only.

For those who may be saying, “I’d like to attend, but I think I will wait until next year…”
I want to be completely honest with you. At this point-in-time, there is no plan to hold this event again. Never. Ever. Again. The Surf Ballroom (our partner in this event) has agreed to hold this event this year (and this year only). While it is hard to predict whether or not they may change their mind after this incredible event concludes, there is no way to know if this will be your one & only opportunity to see this amazing Trop Rock lineup of stars perform on this world famous stage in this iconic venue. No pressure – just need you all to know that this is scheduled as a “one & done” event!
