Reason #3…Ashley Hinson
You see her every morning on the KCRG Morning News – come out to see her live on-stage for her last “official” performance with the Cedar Island Band!
This Saturday (October 6) we’ll raise our glasses and toast a truly gifted musician (and a phabulous parrot head) as she trades in the music of the CIB for the music of motherhood (or as Doug calls it an 18 year maternity leave). Any way you look at it we know we will miss the phabulous sound Ashley brings to the band.
Come out to Island Fever on Saturday at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in Cedar Rapids and help us say thanks to Ashley and give her a proper send-off! While we’re sad to see her go, we wish her all the best and hope that she will continue to be a part of our Isle of Iowa phlock (perhaps she’ll even pick up her instrument for a special appearance or two).
